1946-ban születtem Budapesten, a Képzőművészeti Gimnázium festő szakára jártam, majd 1971-ben diplomáztam az Iparművészeti Főiskola grafika szakán. A 70-es 80-as években plakát, arculat és embléma tervezéssel foglalkoztam hazai és külföldi megrendelésekre. Közben sokat festettem, az utóbbi időben pedig már csak festek.

Az 1970-es varsói plakát biennállén „A legígéretesebb fiatal művész” oklevelet kaptam, a munkáim megjelentek a világ nevezetes szaklapjaiban. Foglalkoztam portréfestéssel is, ilyet ma is szívesen vállalok. Sok festményem van hazai és külföldi magángyűjteményekben. Számos kiadvány címlapját terveztem és illusztráltam.

About me 

I was born in 1946, in Budapest. I studied at the High School of Fine Arts, at the painters’ department. I graduated in 1971 at the graphics department of the University of Crafts. I was honoured as the “Most Promising Young Artist” at the 1970 Poster Biennale in Warsaw, and my work has been featured in renowned magazines, such as Graphics and Design.

In the 1970s and 1980s, I designed posters, logos, and visual identities for both national and international clients, while continuing my work as a professional painter to this day.

I had group exhibitions at the Ernst Museum Budapest, Budapest Art Gallery, The Museum of Fine Arts, Békéscsaba Graphics Biennale and KOGART Gallery. I also had individual exhibitions at the Budapest Centre of Congress, Dunavarsány Community Center and at the Club Gallery of Újlipótváros. I could show my pictures in Berlin in November 2011, at Art&design Exhibition. I had two times exhibition in Budapest at „Hadik Coffee” (2012 and 2018 at spring), and ones at „Community House” in Óbuda (2015). In the summer of 2018, I presented some of my paintings at the Tóparti Galéria in Révfülöp. In the fall of 2019, I had an exhibition at Apor Vilmos Katolikus Főiskola in Budapest.

 I also create portraits and am open to commissions of this kind. My paintings are part of private collections worldwide, including in the USA, Germany, Austria, and Spain. A regular exhibitor in Hungarian galleries, I have also illustrated numerous books.
